Door-To-Door Searches Could Lead To Fines For Unlicensed & Unvaccinated Pups

Advertisement Dog wardens in Pennsylvania have planned a door-to-door canvassing schedule to check Rabies vaccination records and dog licenses in 26 of the state’s 67 counties. Residents with unlicensed or unvaccinated pets will face fines up to $300 per animal – including cats – as well as court costs. According to the PA Department of Agriculture, dogs three months or older must be licensed by January 1 of each year per Pennsylvania law.
