A fascinating scene played out in the Artis Zoo in Amsterdam. This heron most likely flew into the lion enclosure for a drink. Herons are ubiquitous in Amsterdam. Although this lion was raised in captivity, experts say hunting is instinctual and intrinsically in its DNA. The heron didn’t stand a chance against this sneaky lion.
